i understand that i3core 10105 is not compatible with windows 10 legacy.
can you please advise which of the processors in 10th generation are compatible with legacy.
if none of them work with legacy, whether any in 9th or 11th generation can work?
thanks

It is not clear to me what do you mean by saying "legacy Windows 10". Are you asking to compatibility with Windows 10 32bit?
You may find an answer here: Does My Intel® Processor Support Microsoft Windows® 10?

issue is as follows:
tried to upgrade my PC with
i3 core 10105 + Gigabyte H410M-H.
Have Windows 10 enterprise 2009 already installed.
While installing the CPU and MB, problem was encountered and windows did not boot. The service technician said that it may be due to windows 10 version being Legacy version. Read somewhere on your website a user comment to similar effect. (attached)
attached screenshot of system info by Belarc advisor shows the version is probably uefi.
Would very much appreciate if a workaround can be suggested.
Or another version of CPU 10th gen may be?
Thank you.

In my opinion you should verify the following:
1. The installed Windows is 64 bit rather then 32 bit version.
2. Windows was installed in UEFI mode (i.e. the system drive has GPT partition rather than MBR)
3. The drive with the O.S. is recognized in BIOS.
4. The UEFI boot is enabled in BIOS.

thank you for prompt response.
1. installed windows is 64 bit (attached screenshot)
2. cannot be sure if it was installed in uefi mode but the information in attached screenshots indicates uefi.
3. i am sorry, based on what i have, not possible to know if drive is recognized in bios
4. same as 3.
will try to find a way.
thank you

It not clear to me why you can't enter BIOS and check the setting and if the drive is recognized in BIOS. If the board is working, you should be able to enter BIOS as explained in the Board User Manual, page 19. On page 30 in the Manual, you will find information how to check the NVMe and SATA Configuration. In section 2-3, page 33, see how to check the version of the installed BIOS (the latest BIOS version is F8, dated January 2024). Your BIOS should be updated.
If you can't follow the Manual, you should ask for professional help.
Leon
Edit:
BTW, on page 35, para. Storage Boot Option Control, I can read that the default boot option in you board is Legacy boot only, rather than UEFI boot. So, this also may be the reason for failed boot.
