intel i7 6700k or 6700

Hi !

Soon, this month or in May i'm getting new processor, i already have motherboard with intel Z170 (socket 1151) chipset.

This computer will be just for music production, so, no gaming.

I never used overclocking (now i have i7 2600k),

is there any big difference between 6700k and 6700 model ?

Should i get 6700 (better price) or is 6700k still better , also without overclocking ?

And , is it enough to use integrated graphic , using just applications or should i keep pci-e card (nothing special Asus R5 230 silent 1gb),

like i said just for using application.

Hi Schmety,

For music production I suggest you the i7-6700, It will support your requirements without any limitation. The graphics embedded are excellent it is not necessary an external graphics card. Both processors are similar, same amount of Cache memory, same type of memory (RAM), same graphics version. The i7-6700K is unlock so, it is possible to increase the processor speed.
