intel i7-Q740 QM.

I did the test windows (Experience Index) which reported 4.7 to processor performance. I have previous records yielding 7.1 for this parameter. ran the intel software (processor diagnostic tool) indicated that my processor as having one core only.This processor (i7 Q740qm) is specified as 4 cores by Intel. Is there any way to enable the cores? Advance grateful, help me ...

The amount of cores can be limited in your system BIOS or in Windows* System Configuration Utility (msconfig). In this Microsoft* utility I recommend leaving the Boot Advanced Options (Number of processors) unchecked (as they are by default).
