I have a Lenovo yoga s740, purchased in 2020, with the following characteristics:
i7-1065G7 processor, 8M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz. Since 2023, I have had CPU heating problems, which make the computer slow down and interfere with the graphics. I don't use it for games or heavy applications.
I have all drivers updated (Lenovo and Win 11). I've already done internal cleaning and changing the CPU folder. Withstands 4 hours of operation at temperatures between 49ºC and 90ºC. The problem has improved, but it continues. See results in attachament.
I need help.
Best regards,
Nuno

Hello nfaria74,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Before we proceed, please note that this is an OEM device. We will try to assist you with general troubleshooting steps, however, if the issue still persists, you will have to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer of your device. Your device manufacturer may have altered features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to some components for better compatibility with your system.
The Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT) results you shared actually passed. It means that the processor is still on good health. However, let's look further on what's causing the issue to avoid any further damage. Please share the following missing points for proper isolation:
1) Is the system fan still working? You may check the vents if there is still air flowing.
2) What application(s) are running that keeps the CPU temperature high? How much temperature are you getting?
3) Does your laptop lag, freeze, reboot or shutdown when high temperature is observed?
4) What application is used for monitoring the CPU temperature?

You may also contact your system manufacturer support team directly, so they can help with proper tools in diagnosing the actual issue.
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,

Hello nfaria74,
As I have not heard from you for the past few days, I will proceed in closing this thread.
Since this is an OEM laptop devi e, I highly recommend contacting your system manufacturer support team directly, so they can help with proper tools in diagnosing the actual issue.
Should you need assistance in the future, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Sincerely,
