Hello Ayman_muslat,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I'd like to know more about your system details to fully isolate the issue and be able to provide an appropriate fix. Please help share the following details below:
1) Is this an out of the box issue or has it worked before it started getting high temperature?
2) What application(s) are running when you get the high temperature?
3) What application/tool is used to monitor the CPU temperature?
4) If you may, I would like you to download and share the log files and screenshot of the results of the following diagnostic tools, so I can further check:
- 1. Intel® System Support Utility (SSU). Please download the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt). Attach the SSU log file as you reply.
- 2. Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT). Please provide the actual screen shot of the result (whole page) and the log notes. (Click File > View results file (it will open a notepad) > file then save as (by default file name is TESTRESULTS.TXT)).
- 3. Run the CPU Stress Test for 5 minutes using Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU). Kindly provide the screen shot while test is ongoing (about 3 minutes) and after the test is finished. Please make sure the whole page is seen including the graphs.
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Thank you for following up on my issue. Honestly, I decided to get rid of the Intel Core i7-13700K processor along with the motherboard and threw them in the trash due to the high temperature problem that I couldn’t resolve, despite investing heavily in cooling systems and thermal paste.
I purchased a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a new motherboard, and I’m now very satisfied with the performance and temperatures. The Ryzen processor has proven to be a much better option, maintaining low temperatures even under heavy workloads.
I realize now that I made a mistake by not listening to my friends, who warned me against buying Intel processors and described them as “ovens” because of their high heat. Unfortunately, they were right.
Thank you for your assistance, but I’m happy with my switch to Ryzen, and I consider it the best decision I’ve made to improve my experience.
Best regards,
Ayman Muslat
