Will a Q9650 cpu work on an intel DP965LT motherboard? its not listed in the compatibility matrix but maybe it works? it uses the same 775 socket..

Well if it says it dosen't then it's bot officially supported, it may work..it may work well, but it also may not and cause problems/ The only way you are going to know is by trying it.
