Auto generate base-addresses doesn't work

Hello everybody,

I am using Quartus II and NIOS II version 5.0.

Does anyone experienced problems with the autogeneration of base addresses in the SOPC builder?

When I have only one CPU with some modules (lcd, led etc.) it goes well, but when i have more than one CPU and adding some mutexes and stuff the SOPC builder generates the base addresses for me but there are a lot of conflicts. As a matter of fact I saw base addresses that were equal http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif (of modules connected to the same CPU!).

Any tips?

Yes, otherwise it may not show the confict messages.

I quess that if I say that it must generate the base addresses automatically, the error messages of "same baseaddresses" should go away!

This sounds like a known problem. The work-around is to manually assign the base addresses.
