Hi all.
I created a board description for my custom NIOS II 5.1 Stratix 1s60 board. I specified the FPGA device in the Netlists tab in the board desciption editor. I saved my board description and chose this board in SOPC Builder. Now after assigning pins in pin mapper, I get the following message in the SOPC Builder: cpu-0 requires stratix, stratix gx, stratix ii, stratix ii gx, cyclone, cyclone ii device to operate. please change the target device selection. However, I have specified the device during Board Description. Also, the device tab on SOPC Builder is disabled after choosing a board. (I tried to recreate the board once again. Then during generate it was giving following error: # 2006.04.10 04:39:03 (*) running generator program for cpu
error:
c:/altera/kits/nios2_51/components/altera_nios2/cpu_core_select.pl 49 called (e_project::new)

error: generator program
for module 'cpu' did not run successfully. ) I have been unable to generate my SOPC system because of this error. What can be the problem? Plz. help. kvm.

Dear Altera Guru
We are having ALtera’s CycloneIII FPGA board and a daughter card provided by bitec.I am having hsmc mosaic design as well but the same is not getting compiled in QuartusII v10.1. While generating the system for the first time before compilation it is was giving the following eror in SOPC Builder.- But now during compilation it is showing the error as vip_top_mode_match_from_the_my_alt_vip_itc doesnot exsist in macrofunction “inst”
