hi everyone, 

 

i use an altera developement board (nios2 1c20 processor, lan91c11 ethernet chip) with the FreeBSD stack. I do some time measurement with "tcp_echo" which is included in ecos and i can get a 2.7Mbit/s throughput. Has anyone do the same test and what about the performance?

Sounds about right. Remember that you have a 50 MHz CPU, and the altera_avalon_lan91c111 device doesn't use DMA, just asynchronous mode.
