Force a reset with software?

I'd like to be able to force a reset on the NIOS-II processor. This reset doesn't have to load the configuration RAM, just start the software over again as if it powered on.

Jumping to the reset address can sometimes bite you in the @$$, so I was wondering if anyone else has had to force their system to reset using a software-only solution?

[EDIT: Wish I could delete this post, but I just found out we'll have an external Watchdog in this circuit, so I'll just make it timeout, or configure the internal timer to be a watchdog.]
