I'm new to this FPGA world. To get started I was trying to create a "Hello World" example for my Arria II GX fpga board. I found a "Hello World" in the nios 10.1 folder but I can’t seem to get it going.
I was wondering if someone could give a step by step example of how to create this "Hello World" program. Your help is much appreciated. mikeLink Copied

if you have done followings. - have you created SOPC builder system with NiosII or it is already there? - have you compiled QuartusII project with NiosII or *.sof file is already there? - have you created NiosII C program and compile without error? - have you downloaded *.sof or *_timelimited.sof on your ArriaII GX board? - have you downloaded your "hello world program on you bard after your download *.sof" how far did you get?- Mark as New

Well I tried to change the SOPC file already there to fit my board, which I believe I'm doing wrong because all I do is change the hardware from Cyclone to my Arria II GX.
I also know I'm doing something wrong because when I try to create the .sof file I get errors. I'm really new at this and I cant seem to find any tutorials for the Arria II GX board. So I guess that is what I'm looking for a tutorial that will walk me through a NIOSII project for the Arria II GX FPGA board.
