How to download elf files to the board?

Hi all,

I am a newbie on Altera/Nios stuff and I am heaving problems to download a .elf file to the board.

I generated those files using the nios2-linux-uclibc-gcc toolchain but I have if it is possible to download the file directly from Linux.

Even from Windows, I am trying to open a SDK shell and using nios-run and nios2-download.

- nios-run uses the serial port and asks for a cpu reset. I try to press the button on the board but nothing happens.

- nios2-download give me an veryfication error and leave the processor paused.

Am I doing it right? Any other options to do the download?

Thanks a lot!
