Hi,
I am trying to connect the JTAG pins of FT2232HQ to the JTAG pins on the FPGA development boards EP4CE6E fourth-generation circuit boards in my Ubuntu machine.
My JTAG level FTDI code is working and I can see the clock and other pin's toggling fine using the Linux terminal compiled C code.
Even my FPGA board with the standard USB Blaster is working fine with my Quartus 13.1 GUI.
I am not sure who can help here FTDI or Intel here.
Looking for a solution here.

Hello,
We can't help if you have issue with FTDI chip because we don't have resource to support other company device.
By default if you are using USB Blaster II programming cable provided by Intel, you just connect the programming cable to Cyclone IV device and it will be able to configure the FPGA via Quartus programmer tool.

Farabi

Hi Farabi,
I can understand.
The nearest solution recommended by FTDI was to follow the schematic https://ftdichip.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Morph-IC-II-Schematic-Prints.pdf of the Morph II system and make a similar connection of the FT-H devices to an FPGA/Cyclone IV device and with the source code available you can create your own program to communicate with the FPGA.
For sure the https://ftdichip.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/AN_173_Establishing_FT1248_Communications_using_a_Morph-IC-II.pdf solution need to replaced with the Cyclone IV device. So here I need your help where your team can provide a Verilog based program/solution to me to move ahead.
Thanks
LMSM

Hi lmsm,
Maybe you can start with design example as your reference:
