Insight-Debugger with NIOS2 6.0

I have read in the forum that it is possible to use the Insight debugger with NIOS2. I indeed succeeded starting the nio2-elf-insight program delivered with the NIOS2 6.0 kit, but I cannot connect to the target.

The problem are most likely the target settings. Does anybody know which target settings are correct? Is it necessary to perform any other step before starting the Insight debugger (e.g. start of a gdb server or jtag server)?

Try "nios2-debug <your ELF>"
