The kernel and filesystem compile ok, but when I try to start the linux with nios-terminal I get this, over and over again:

After that last line, it jumps back to the beginning. Any ideas? Could the chip be busted? The id seems like a default id. edit: Yep, the Cyclone board was busted, not the Microtronix kit. I switched to Stratix II and it recognized the id correctly, as you might guess the id was 6123 http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif . Oh well...
