Hi,
I've been using the C10LP dev kit to test out the XIP option from EPCQ flash. This works fine with a Nios II/f core but not a Nios II/e - I assume this is because II/f provides an instruction cache.
Now, my question is, for general flash access, e.g. to read/write calibration data, would I still need to use the II/f? Or would the II/e support this?
Also, I can't find any info regarding licensing requirements for II/f - are there any?

Nios II e/f can write and read data from flash.
