Is it possible to change the CPU frequency at runtime?

Hi,everyone,

I created a system using nios2 and because of our research goal,I have this question.

Is it possible to change the CPU frequency at runtime? Use PLL? When we change the frequency at runtime, there must be some time when the frequency is very unstable. Will there be a problem?

Thanks for any clue:D

I just found Phase-Locked Loop Reconfiguration for the PLL. I think probably I can use this. But if I change the frequency of the processor, it seems that the memroy frequency needs to change too.I am not sure
