Linux on one core and ...

Hi, 

 Has anybody been successful in running linux on one core of the Cyclone V and something else (say uC/OS, or something) on the other ?  I believe it's possible. There is an Altera produced magazine article which I have attached.  Has anybody out there done this ?  Thanks, Andrew
