Hi,

i've got different NIOS2 System Configurations (Software Versions, Custom Instructions ...) which i would like to compare concerning the speed. Is there only the timestamp method or do have any other ideas.

Thanks,

Christoph

Are you trying to measure your entire system speed or just individual operations? If it's just an overall time then a performance counter should be good enough. If you are trying to get precise operation measurements I would go with a performance counter (it's a component in SOPC Builder).
