We migrated from NIOS 2 development kit 1.1 to 5.0.
The 1.1 version was with Quartus 4.2, the 5.0 version is with Quartus 5.0
The generated NIOS and software was working in the lab.
After migration to version 5.0 the generated software behaves diffrently.
It seems that the compiled output is different in many ways.
One thing that we could see was that nested function calls were
destroying the calling function variables. It did not happen in the older version.
Is it compiler switch that has different defualts in the newer version?
If so, what is the switch that should be changed?
If not what should be done to resolve this issue?
