hi,everyone!

Thanks hippo for his great works!

In hippo's thread that updated at2006/04/14 ,you said that"Note, don't use jtag uart in production,it will not run without a nios2-terminal connection". Does itmean that we can't use jtag to download the kennel image to the board. My development board is Cyclone II DSP development kit,It has only an usb-blaster,and dosen't include a network terminal or any other serial communication tools. Could i develop nios2-linux on this development borad.

Best regards.

You should use jtag for development. It is easier to test from sdram than program flash everytime.

Only when your development work finished, and you want to move to production,

then you need to disable jtag terminal.
