Problem with ethernet connection

Hi all, 

 

I have made the ethernet on my cyclone iii 3c120 board, but then I am confused about how to connect the ethernet to my other designs ? For example, I have a scrambler and descrambler to deal with the data from the ethernet, what should I do to connect the first srambler with the ethernet output?
