Hello
I'm going to buy NIOSII Cyclone II edition Dev Kit in http://www.altera.com/lowcost (http://www.altera.com/lowcost) promotion. But unfortunately I can't figure out which speed grade chip is soldered on the board. One distbiutor says that it is 8 speed grade ES device, the second distributor says that it is 6 ES device. At the same time there is a info in CII dev kit manual that: "Preproduction builds of the Nios Development Board, Cyclone II Edition have an EP2C35F6728ES device." So, which speed grade device is mounted on the kit offered in that promotion? And, another question: In Quartus 5.0 SP1 (build 168) I don't see Cyclone II ES devices in device list. Does it mean that EP2C35F676-6ES has the same JTAG ID as a EP2C35F672-6 ? Regards MichalLink Copied

Cyclone II developement boards are suppose to be shipped C6 non ES parts. If you look at the Nios II reference designs for that board you will see the exact part being targetted.
