Reference design accelerated ethernet

Hi all, 

 

I downloaded the reference design for the accelerated ethernet connection. The problem is now that it was made for a cyclone. Is there a way, without obtaining licenses for nichestack en the mac core, to change it. I can't seem to compile it in quartus, because the mtip_mac feature isn't installed. This way I can't test the benchmarks. Hope you can help me out.
