Hi,
I face some minor error when i tried to launch Help system in the Quartus 9.1. It is fine when using command line in the browser to open the help page. The error that I face is "Can't locate the web browser. Specify a web browser in the Internet Connectivity page if the Option dialog box (Tools menu)." Can anyone point me the right direction to fix this simple error? Thanks in advance for the help. Best regards TanLink Copied

Yes ... did you try specifying a web browser in the Internet Connectivity page of the options dialog box?
Tools->Options->Internetn Connectivity The give it the path to your web browser (IE or Firefox or whatever). Usually this isn't required but for some reason Quartus wasn't able to find a default browser. Jake- Mark as New

No. You need to edit your Quartus settings. So from within Quartus click on the tools menu. Then click options. On the left hand side click on the "Internet Connectivity" node under "General". Then give the path to your web browser.

Dear Jacobjones,
Thanks for showing the procedure, and I had done that, however the error message still persist. Is there any other setting that need to be done. For more information, when I tried to launch the web browser using the command line, it is fine. However when I tried to launch the Help system for Quartus II. the error showed.- Mark as New

No truly I've never seen anybody have trouble after setting up the path to the web browser.
