After continuing try, the problem becomes "The application has fialed to start because cygwin1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" when I click the debug botton on the debug dialog box of the IDE.

I have solved the above problem by copying the file cygwin1.dll into the directory where the eclipse.exe reside in.

But when I debug the applications of both the altera NIOSII project and the linux project , the items: step over, resume, etc in the Run menu of the NIOSII IDE are always keeping gray. I cannot debug the application at all. It seems that the IDE debugger is malfunctional.

Does someone have some ideas about this problem?

Just now, I unstalled the quartus and NiosII IDE and reinstalled them. The above problem is solved.

Thanks.
