address offset for booting problem

As the uclinux-dist step saying:(I use the DE2_NET project) 

 

Processor type and features-->(0x00500000) Link address offset for booting. 

 

Then the starting processor should be at 0x00500000+0x00800000(the sdram base address) 

 

Why it is 0x00500000?
