issue about high_res_timer

First I have sys_timer(1ms) and high_res_timer(1us) , and the project gose well. 

I think high_res_timer is not used in linux.  

Then I delete the high_res_timer, after Quartus 5.1 compiles, the resource used incresed from 90% to 94% (EP2C5), what a surprise thing! 

and linux boot error at
