just installed quartus v21.4 and i can't find the altera_iniche folder.
i used to have it on v18.1.
was it replaced?

Hi,
The deliverable for NicheStack TCP/IP Stack used in Nios® II applications is discontinued starting with Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Software version 21.1 and Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Software version 21.3.
That's why you can't find the altera_iniche folder. May check on these two KDB links below.

New Nios® V Processor Features and Enhancements
- Enhanced Nios® V/m processor with µC/TCP-IP stack support, including two new example designs that demonstrate the use of this stack.
I think this must be something you are looking for. Implemented starting with version 22.1. May check out these links below:
