I know that i can make a simulation with Quartus.
How about NIOS and uClinux ? There is a way to simulate before upload everything to the board ? I ask it because my board stay at the University, and I want to test what I am doing so I wont wast my time if have a little bug and stuff ...Link Copied

I'm having the same problem. You can do simulation with the NiosII IDE right clicking on your project and choosing "run as"->"niosII instruction set simulator".
I haven't been able to do simulations with a nios inside QuartusII. Can you tell me if you find out how to do it? If you use only an on-chip memory you should be able to do it, I think.
