Have any one tried to use uC Linux on NIOS II 5.0?
I just installed the newer NIOS II version on my computer, and when I tried to creat a new uC Linux Kernel project I got an error message during new project creation (Last screen, after selecting .PTF file): Project cannot be created Reason: Resource /LinuxKernelTest/build/arch/nios2nommu does not exist. (Project name is LinuxKernelTest). Just to be sure, I used the Linux example design (linux_1c20.ptf) Neimar.Link Copied

There are incompatibilities with Nios II 5.0 and the Nios II Linux distribution that need to be hashed out. Tentative release date is in a couple of weeks to support existing functionality.
That might be followed up with another release with some newer features to catch up with kernel functionality that wasn't available in the Nios II Linux v1.0- Mark as New

Thank you very much, Ken.
I'll wait for that newer release. Neimar.
