web server on nios II

hi, 

i have successfully run the web server program provided with the nios 5.0 kit,can anybody tell me how to develope our own applications using this program,can anybody tell me which applications can be done using either web server or socket server program.please tell me soon,i've very less time left now. thank you sorry for my english manish
