Attempting OpenCL SDK install in ubuntu, linux sources missing

Hi there, when attempting to run the sdk for opencl 2016 ubuntu, I get the following error:

Please, obtain the kernel sources/headers for your kernel. If you are building
from sources, do a 'make modules_install' or if you are using package manager,
do a 'sudo apt-get source linux-source'

I have modified my sources.list to include source code, and downloaded linux source and placed it in /usr/src/kernels but am still receiving this error.  Is there something else I have to do?  Forgive the rather newbie question, I have attempted to look through the relevant help files on here and do not find myself getting very far.  Thanks in advance for any help you could provide.

Sincerely,

Trevor

The link explains how to convert the RPM to .deb format and how to install it.

There is also some discussion that might also be helpful if you are working on Ubuntu.
