Inline vs. Non-Inline Functions causing crash on i5

I'm currently encountering a mysterious issue reported by our users - our application crashes on (only) i5 CPUs. I've dig into the issue and found that when the 'inline' attribute from certain functions is removed, the application works as expected.
I know this is a rather rough description for my problem, so my question is simply: is this a known issue?

We are not aware of such an issue. A reproducer example would be very helpful.
