I’m happy to announce the release of the Intel® SDK for OpenCL* Applications XE 2013. This production release provides certified OpenCL 1.2 support for Intel® Xeon® processors and for Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors on Linux* operating systems. This version of the SDK is targeted at developers of highly parallel applications including High Performance Compute (HPC), workstations, and data analytics, to name just a few.
The main benefits available with this new release include:
- Accelerate performance and improve efficiency with Intel Xeon Phi coprocessors
- Optimize performance for highly parallel applications with OpenCL* 1.2
- Support for Red Hat* and SUSE* Operating systems
- OpenCL development tools for code optimizations
- Compatibility with applications developed with the Beta version
