I was running a 12700K with GSkill DDR 5 6800 (XMP) just fine for over a year. After upgrading to 14700K it would not work. I tried 3 kits. My 6800, Patriot 7600 and tried all 3 XMP profiles they use. 7600,7400, & 7200. Also just tried a Gskill 6400 and it also failed XMP. Even at 6000.
I have never had a kit of memory fail XMP. It always just worked until now. Been using intel since 1996. Been through over a dozen CPUs and twice as many memory kits. I want to get my CPU replaced and since Best buy only has a 15 day return policy i need to get it from intel. And even though they invented XMP they will not support if you use it. Kind of stupid to not support your platform and tools.
How can I get a replacement from intel. And yes, the CPU & memory works fine with memory at default. I did not get a Unify X, 14700K and 6800memory only to be held back by the intel CPU crap IMC.

....but the page with specs actually says 'up to ddr5 5600 MT/s' , system stability at higher speed is not guaranteed
On top of that, if you run dual channel and go with liek 2 or 4 dimms, then you will get max 4800 MT/s or less. The 5600MT/s is single dimm only.
