Please, have a 3502 antique Celeron Laptop, now with 190 MB HD, 2 MB ram and M 780 2.26 GHz Dothan processor. Now, I've known that changing power of laptop 19 V by a 4.7 A should accelerate from 1.7 GHz to this new speed and nothing. Any ideas?? Internal configurations? Thanks to anyone!

Are you saying that you expected a performance increase by changing the external power adapter?

Yeah, Mr. Hill, I've read through a place in Web that changing this amperage of external power would increase this to maximum... Is it correct? Because have bought new power source and nothing changed as it seems...

O.K., Mr. Hill. Thanks by helpful last remark!
But, considering this, why, after all, clock doesn't increment if is a 2.26 GHz processor?? Everything says in laptop it's still in 1.7 GHz!!
