I suppose that you are overclocking or undervolting with a "sync all cores" configuration?
This whole instability debacle is most likely caused by the single/few core boost. Those have exponentially higher voltages for slightly higher frequencies.
CoreCycler or similar tools might work well to verify ST/gaming stability.

Hi Marcos7. That is my CPU on my new system which I purchased two months ago. I too have been wondering about the same question if my CPU is vulnerable. Honestly I ask 5 people and I get 5 different answers. That’s why it’s so frustrating because there is no guidance from Intel as to exactly which CPUs are affected. Plus the gigabyte motherboard has settings that aren’t what Intel says should be my specs so I worry about that too. But since my cpu is locked I’m hoping some of those settings do not affect it.
So far my system runs great with no issues but everyone seems to say to takes a few months for symptoms to appear so I don’t know if in another month or two I start getting problems.
how long have you had this cpu?

I bought it on 01/22/2024 pre-sale in my country, as I said in the previous mensagens, it might be my impression but I'm using 144hz 1080p and i'think it' a overkill for this CPU,play ultra 144hz even when running, it's close to what it would max deliver, in the CPUz performance tests it performs better than the other 14400f so I'm not that worried, Intel promised an exchange in case of defect, there's not much to do, just wait ,if you notice that it's slow or has bsod etc send it for warranty, unfortunately not even Intel itself knows what to do with these processors ,they are totally lost, not even official information reports the real cause/specific model or even a specific test or program of theirs to detect this issues, they leave something to be desired in this generation, I never liked the other CPU company but I believe the next one will be from theirs..

Today MSI released their microcode to "patch" this issue. I'm hoping Gigabyte releases it soon so I can update it and hope (fingers crossed) that the microcode works to prevent, slow down or stop any damage. Good Luck with your experience.
