I am on the verge of buying a new windows tablet. According to tech spec page of Atom x5-z8300, it can support 2 GB of ram but some Chinese tablet makers use Atom x5-z8300 and 4 GB of ram. Is that possible ?
The maximum memory capacity this processor can handle is 2GB only. More than that may cause unexpected behavior or issues with the components as it overpasses the capacity in the memory controller of the processor.
