I have a desktop running on a DH77EB motherboard and i tried to install a newer graphics card.

The mb does not recognize it.

I want to update the BIOS but can't find the files on intel website.

Anyone has the latest version of the BIOS for this motherboard?

You can download the latest/last bios (0103) and release notes from here:

Which graphic card did you use, and did it work?

Im going to install a NVIDIA T400. My current BIOS version is 53 so i had update via USB. Still installing bt will update as soon as I make it work.

I am not familiar with that card.  However, with old boards, I have seen success with older nvidia cards.  AMD cards rarely work.

Remember, that board is a decade old, so compatibilty of newer cards is hit or miss.

@AlHill it worked!

I have 2 desktops with this mb.

One i was successful in updating the bios and the graphics card worked perfectly.

Now i'm having issues in updating the bios in the other one. Intel Management Engine Firmware failed to update. But that's a different matter.

But despite the problems, at least one desktop is working.

Thank you for your help!

Glad the T400 worked.   For the board with the ME problem, try bios recovery if the F7 bios update is failing.

Copied the .bio file to a clean formatted (Fat32) USB stick, removed the BIOS mode jumper and switched the pc on but nothing happened.

I don't know why, but the BIOS is not entering recovery mode.

Did you use one of the black usb ports on the rear of the board?

Also, replace the battery for good measure.

@n_scott_pearson  it was. An older USB flash drive i have.

@AlHill first thing I did.

I tried to update using ms dos but somebody bumped on the power plug and corrupted the bios. I bought a EEPROM flasher to try to recover it now. Waiting for it to be delivered. Will post an update as soon as I can.
