Hey there, I've been struggling for about a week now trying to launch any game with Easy anti cheat (EAC) software. Every time, without fail, I get a blue screen and it says that my device has run into a problem. I've updated my BIOS, I've done a fresh install of windows, and still nothing is working.
I haven't had this problem before but, since I have swapped to the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU, I get a blue screen after running any game with EAC. All other games work except EAT games.
If someone could please let me know what's happening and why this expensive product isn't living up to the expectations.

I'm sorry to hear that you're encountering problems with your system. In order to assist you more effectively and find the best solution, could you kindly provide the following details:
- May I know the previous processor that you have?
- Do you have a specific game that's causing the issue?
- Have you already tried using Intel Default settings on your BIOS?
Kindly run this on your system so that I can also gauge the following peripherals and the driver versions that you have:
Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan (leave the default items checked), click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide us the .txt file.

my old proccessor was the Intel Core i5 10400F CPU 6 Core / 12 Thread - Max Turbo 4.3GHz - 12MB Cache - LGA 1200 Socket - 10th Gen Comet Lake - 65W TDP - No Integrated Graphics, I used this on with no issues.
any game using EAC causes my pc to blue screen, but other games that don't have EAC worked perfectly fine.
I have also set all my BIOS to default, but still no success.

Update the latest bios version F16b.
Reset bios settings to default,
Adjust bios as per your choice.
Enable secure boot in bios; enable tpm.
Update NVidia driver 566.45 hiotfix

To further investigate the issue, I need to gather some additional information.
- Are the crashes/BSODs random, or can they be triggered by specific actions?
- Could you provide screenshots or recordings of the issue so I can clearly see what’s happening?
- Are there any error message during BSOD events?
These errors can be caused by both hardware and software issues.
You can look up the error on the Microsoft site, and refer to Bug Check Code Reference. You can also visit the Microsoft site Resolving Blue Screen errors in Windows*.
Troubleshooting tips
Try the following troubleshooting tips to help with this issue:
- Undo any recent changes to the BIOS.
- Before you try resetting your BIOS, make sure to take note of your current BIOS settings first and read up on the motherboard manufacturer's particular reset process and recommended precautions for your motherboard.
- Consult your motherboard manufacturer to verify if a BIOS update is recommended.
- Try getting the latest updates with Windows Update.
- Remove any new hardware added to your system after noticing the error. Shut down your PC, remove the hardware, and try restarting.
- Test the system by booting with only essential components (motherboard, processor, one stick of memory, video card, one storage drive , and power supply).
- Updating your system drivers might help. Here's what you can do:
- Download and install drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website.
- Look up what components are in your system and visit your components' manufacturers' websites to download and install their respective drivers for your system's components.
- Download and install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant to identify any Intel drivers compatible with your system.
- Try Recovery options in Windows
- If possible, test with another processor or try replacing the motherboard for self-build system.

I have also tried majority of those tips listed below and none have worked. I have switched back to an older process which I didn’t have any problems running easy anti cheat with

A couple of things you could consider.
First, there is a limited range of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable files installed on your system currently. A full set of these including the latest available can be downloaded from here (see screenshot below).
Second, there are sources claiming that this issue can be resolved through the Windows Security settings. Specifically by toggling Windows Security->Device Security->Core Isolation->Memory integrity to On (and probably also setting Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack protection to On should do no harm). See screenshot below.
