CPU thermal throttling problem at 80 degrees

Hi my name is eren , I have a very strange problem

my pc

-Motherboard : Gigabyte b660m ds3h 5333mhz

-Processor : i5 14600kf

-Ram : Xpg d50 white 3600mhz ddr4 xmp profile 1 active

-Cooling : Deepcool LT720 AIO 360mm

While running the cinebench r23 test on the system, I noticed that the system was constantly lowering the frequency and I got 176000 points when I should normally get 240000 points. for the test, I did a stress test in the intel extreme tuning utality program. as a result of the test, I took the pump speed and fan speed of my processor to the end and did the test. My processor did not exceed 70-83 degrees, but the system saw it as if it reached 100 degrees and braked it. could the problem be caused by the heat sensors of the motherboard. i am using the latest version of bios and my bios settings are all normal. i did not change any settings. waiting for your help on the subject

Hello ErenArslan

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.

In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

1.      Have you observed any anomalies or unusual behavior in other performance tests or applications, aside from the Cinebench R23 test?

2.      Could you elaborate on the steps you took to stress test the system in the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility program and any specific settings you adjusted during the test?

3.      Are there any additional symptoms or error messages displayed by the system when it perceives the processor reaching 100 degrees and initiates the slowdown?

4.      Have you considered monitoring the temperature using third-party software to cross-verify the readings and ensure accuracy in assessing the heat-related concerns?

Please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.

This document will be necessary to check your entire system, in order to find possible errors or incompatibilities.

Hello, I solved the problem, my Gigabyte b660 ds3h motherboard is insufficient for the processor. The problem is that the motherboard's vram mosfets are insufficient. Since the mosfets are not enough to feed the processor, the mosfet temperature reaches 107 degrees and lowers the voltage + lowers the frequency. I determined that there is nothing related to the processor temperature or temperature sensor. My current motherboard is Asus B760-A Rog Strix and my cinebench r23 test saw 25800 points, I can use the processor fully efficiently. Thank you for your support. Have a good day
