I have a Dell Optiplex 3050 desktop PC and I am wondering if it is possible to replace my CPU. Details are as follows:-

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz

You will need to ask dell what processors are supported by their bios. Then, you can select from those.

An upgrade processor must be bios, socket, and chipset compatible.
