Can anyone tell me how to use the Turbo Boost?

My laptop is using a i5-8250u 1.6Ghz processor “with Turbo Boost up to 3.4Ghz”. However, my laptop processor never reach 3.4Ghz, or even close. The Turbo Boost never works. I can only experience 1.6Ghz.

Once you have read all of this and understand how the feature actually works, go talk to the manufacturer of your laptop/appliance/PC; they are responsible for the implementation and operation of this feature on this machine.
