Hi,
I am going to buy a new notebook. It will be an Acer 5750 with a Core i3-2310M or a Core i5-2410M. After buying this notebook I am going to replace the procesor with a Quad Core Intel Core i7-2630QM. Will it be possible?
I am looking for answers from people who know what they are saying so please don't answer if you are not 100% sure of your answer.
I really need help, didn't found any clues on the Internet.
Thanks!
Darxis

Keep in mind that compatibility between Intel processors and any laptop is determined by the laptop manufacturer, so in this case you need to contact the laptop manufacturer so they can tell you if the laptop will support the i7-2630QM

Thanks for answering! I will contact the laptop manufacturer but I have noticed that the Acer AS5750G was also assembled with a Core i7-2630QM processor. Maybe this is a clue?

If it's the same laptop model (not am updated model with possibly new BIOS version and/or modified hardware) then it usually means that the processor is supported.
