Core 2 Duo E8400 Compatibility

Hello, I recently bought a Core 2 Duo E8400 and I can't find out for sure if it is compatible with my nForce 570 SLIT-A V5.1 motherboard. Any help or info about required BIOS/drivers is greatly appreciated.

Please contact the motherboard manufacturer so they can provide you full information about compatibility between the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor E8400 and their motherboard, please keep in mind that the motherboard manufacturer is the one that determines the compatibility.

Thanks for the reply. I understand it's the burden of the manufacturer of the mobo to supply that information but I have not received a response from them so I thought I would try asking here.
