Core 2 Quad Q6600 shows only 800 Mhz...

My Q6600 2.4 Ghz shows only 800 Mhz!!!!! Help!!! I know that CPU slows down when idle, and when I fully load it up, it shows only 1200 Mhz.. Help!!
