Hi everybody,
We use a small program under MS-DOS in Windows 7 32-bit. From this new series of Intel processors, some MS-DOS (eg, EDIT) commands do not respond, they are left hanging. We have not had problems with previous generation processors.
Anyone can help on this issue? It may also be related to the new chipset plates?
Thank you very much.

Hi GjParada,
It might be a compatibility issue, the program you are running and your system configuration; but in case you want to we can check the status of your processor, to do that I would suggest you to run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool, please attach the results to your answer.

Thanks for your reply.
The program that we use is very simple, but the problem also occurs with normal DOS commands such as EDIT: they fail to run.
This has happened when we use the new Intel processors, we do not know if this can happen for this reason or some incompatibility Chipset.
Attached reporting IPDT.
Thank you very much.

Hi GjParada,
I can see that your processor Intel® Core™ i5-6400 passed all the tests, what was me processor model you used to have to run this program?
Could you please attach the result of the Intel® System Support Utility? in order to get more information about your system configuration.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Can you please tell me the system requirements for that Program?
Regards,
Hellen.
