E5450 vitrualization issue

Hey,

Thank you to start with. I am having some issues with my set up. I have a SuperMicro MB and it came with 2x E5405 processors. I have since then upgraded the processors to E5450 for the higher frequency speed. What I am coming across is having both Virtualization settings enabled in the BIOS and VMware and VirtualBox does not recognize it being turned on. The other indicator was the PC Health monitor does not give anything regarding the E5450. I have put the E5405 back in and VMware and VirtualBox, PC Health is working fine. Does anyone know what to do? From what SuperMicro says is to not update the BIOS unless there is a major issue. Thanks again!

Thank you.

According to the specs of your motherboard you have an Intel® 5000P (Blackford) Chipset which is a server Chipset. We strongly recommend you to contact Super-micro* in order to get further assistance for your motherboard.

Thank you for the update. From the chipset that is on my MB is that going to limit which processors that will have full functionality? I wanted to keep it within the same series thinking it would be just a straight swap. Thank you again for your time.
