Hi
I bought 9900k but I released a new Intel cpu that all cores can be 5 GHz.
My motherboard, monitor, mouse, keyboard, cooling, sdd, hdd .. .. Have New firmware (Performance Improvement)
My friend bought a Rizen and enjoyed it.
It's better for Intel to have happy consumer with the launch of its new firmware to enhance the overall performance of its ninth generation.
<for example>
new update firmware change log:
*9900k all core 5GHz now
*improve performance in simulia abaqus
*reduce temp when reach to 5ghz
*improve controller performance
*on-board Intel gpu can aid Nvidia Gpu
* multi core sync ability in win 10
*improve performance in new windows 10 update
*New features for z390 motherboards .
*cpu temp sensor calibrate
what is your suggestion about new firmware update ?

Have your motherboard manufacturer provide a BIOS update.
Or, wait for Microsoft to provide an update via Windows 10.

No, it does not. But, the protection can be applied at boot time by the OS.
You want the protection as part of the bios? Contact your motherboard manufacturer and tell them you want it in their bios.
